Parish Planning Session ~ Sept. 15

The parish executive invites you to participate in a program planning session to explore the needs of our Parish community in its various aspects, including event and project planning, determining specific areas of interest, etc. Each of you brings your own uniquely special talents and enthusiasm to our community, and we look forward to hearing your ideas and suggestions. This session will take place on Sunday, September 15th, 2019 after lunch following the Divine Liturgy. Your participation in helping build sustainable programs to strengthen our parish for future generations is greatly appreciated.

Парафіяльна управа запрошує вас взяту участь у сесії планування для визначення потреб нашої парафії в різних аспектах, що включає планування різних імпрез і проектів та визначення специфічних сферів зацікавлення. Кожен і кожна з вас приносить ваші власні унікальні спеціальні таланти та ентузіазму для спільноти, і ми з нетерпінням чекаємо ваших ідей і пропозицій. Ця сесія відбудеться в неділю, 15-го вересня, відразу після обіду опісля Божественної Літургія. Ваша участь у наданні допомоги побудувати стійку програму для зміцнення нашої парафії для майбутніх поколінь високо оцінена.

W. Sarchuk Ukrainian School – Українська Субоня Школа ім. В. Сарчука

Registrations for the W. Sarchuk Ukrainian School will take place on Saturday, September 7 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Classes will begin on September 14, beginning with a Moleben - a blessing service for our youth returning to school - and then a pancake breakfast in the church auditorium – parents welcome!
We invite students 3 yrs. of age and up. Classes take place every Saturday (except statutory/religious holidays) 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Our classes are set up to provide students with an opportunity to learn conversational Ukrainian as well as become familiar with culture and traditions of Ukraine, such as St. Nicholas Day, Christmas, Taras Shevchenko Day, Easter etc. Students get a chance to watch Ukrainian cartoons, play board games and active games, create real Easter Eggs (Pysanky), bake Paska (Easter bread) and Kolach (Christmas Bread).

English Divine Liturgy - Second Sunday and Last Saturday Every Month

As a response to the realities of Missionizing in a society such as ours, and the need to bring the treasures of the Orthodox Faith to our loved ones and our friends who function outside our Ukrainian community, we have initiated a monthly English language liturgy which will be celebrated on the second Sunday and last Saturday of every month.
Please welcome newcomers, and make them feel the warmth of our traditional Ukrainian hospitality.
